Hi. I'm Roslyn Stanwick, a self-taught, independent fashion designer.
I believe that good design is driven by thoughtful observation, technical mastery, and a whole lot of personality. I love clothing’s ability to express and transform who we are and am currently researching sustainable, large-scale solutions to the fast-fashion industry.
This site showcases my creative process through one-off projects. Each garment illustrates a unique exploration in design, technique, and personal expression.

People are starting to think about clothes differently. Not just think, but make, distribute and consume differently too. All clothes created under the Roslyn Stanwick brand have been sustainably produced. Many items are constructed from second-hand material sourced from charity shops or from the offcuts of previous projects. Future collections are underway using eco-friendly fabrics such as lyncel (reconstituted tree pulp!), Linen, bamboo, and recycled PET. All clothes are hand-made in Britain and production value is set at the London living wage. Plans to cook up bigger projects, promoting clothing for healthy lifestyles, are also in the pipeline... because all clothing should have a cause.

COLLABORATIONS
My favourite projects are the ones with a great story. Sometimes it's personal, sometimes it's practical. If you have a special occasion, fabric, or idea to flip fast-fashion on its head then let's talk! Lead time and costs vary based on scope and scale.
